Then they did the inner work. They traced the pattern back: as a child, they were routinely dismissed by an authority figure. They had internalized the belief "my judgment isn't respected." Every partnership was replaying that echo.
They didn't change the partnership. They changed the internal assumption. They did the mental work to assume "my judgment is respected and valued." The partnership conflicts dissolved — and within months, one partner bought the other out at a significant profit.
The outer problem came to pass. It didn't come to stay. But it could only pass when the inner misunderstanding was corrected.

You have some money in your account right now. Pre-tend: focus on that. You have some health in your body right now. Pre-tend: amplify that. There are people who love and respect you. Pre-tend: notice them.
Where focus goes, energy flows. This isn't metaphor. It's the operating mechanism of consciousness. You are an antenna broadcasting a frequency. The universe responds to the frequency, not to the story you're telling about why you deserve the frequency.
The person who is broke and grateful for twenty pounds is generating a different frequency than the person who is broke and angry about twenty pounds. The universe doesn't judge which is more logical. It only matches the broadcast.
Pre-tend. Pay attention in advance to the reality you want to live in. Ignore the absence while simultaneously cultivating the presence.
